HOPA stands for Housing for Older Persons Act, signed into law on December 28,1995, by President Clinton. HOPA is intended and operated for occupancy by at least one person 55 years of age or older per unit. It is required that this information be collected and verified with the age of all residents, periodically.

This MANDATORY form must be completed and returned to the Association Office no later than January 31, 2024. If the office does not receive the HOPA form at the deadline date, then a letter will be sent advising the member has 30 days to complete the form and present it to the office. After the 30-day grace period has passed, a fine of $100 will be imposed.
